Yvonne Cornell, 73, of Morley, passed away peacefully at home on Saturday, March 15, 2025, surrounded by her loved ones.

Born the 10th of 13 children on October 24, 1951, in Big Rapids, Yvonne was the daughter of Howard and Lena (Boody) Ramsey. She graduated from Morley-Stanwood High School in 1969.

Following graduation, on September 26, 1970, she married Charles "Punk" Cornell, and together they shared a beautiful life. Their special bond—her spunkiness and his calm nature—created countless cherished family memories. He preceded her in death in 2009.

Yvonne worked for Wolverine for many years before transitioning to house cleaning, which allowed her the flexibility to do what she loved most—hosting family gatherings and entertaining others. She enjoyed hunting, camping, tending to her flower beds, and celebrating family holidays.

She is survived by her children: Chad (Carol) Cornell, Matt (Amy) Cornell, and Sara (Brian) Sellers; Grandchildren: Devin (Taylor), Audrey (Kyler), Frannie, Conner, Hannah, Hailey, Mitchell (Emily), Cooper (Megan), Ethan, and Mason; Great-grandchildren: Natalie, Ernie, and Otto; Siblings: Sandy (Joe) Bott, Ralph (Marva) Ramsey, Howard (Sharron) Ramsey, Clesson (Pat) Ramsey, Deborah (Ed) Cooke, and Connie (Don) Stevens; Numerous nieces and nephews

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and siblings: Wayne, Mabel, Eileen, Donna, Muriel, Ellen, and Harry.

Cremation has taken place, and a private family gathering will be held at a later date.
