William "Bill" Bruce Ohls, age 41of Barryton entered into rest peacefully at home, Tuesday, April 18, 2006 after fighting a courageous battle against cancer for the last 3 years. He was born in Lakeview on July 24, 1964 to William and Geraldine (Tidd) Ohls. Bill was a self employed painter working mainly in the Jackson area. He really enjoyed hunting especially with a bow and was an avid fisherman. He treasured the moments when he had the opportunity to play guitar with his son Ryne, brother and best buddy Jerry and cousin Gaylord. Bill was preceded in death by his father William H. Ohls in 1992 He is survived by: his fiance Connie Clark who will miss him very much Sons, Ryne and Ty Clark of Barryton His Loving Mother, Geraldine Ohls of Remus Special Buddy, best friend and brother Jerry Ohls of Mecosta Brother, Jim Blanchard of East Jordan Brother-in-law Bill Newland of Bellevue Sisters: Linda (Gary) George of Cedar Springs, Brenda (Jerry) Heisler of Olivet and Elly Ohls of Lake Aunt Marion Peake of Rockville, MD Nieces: Bethany (Jason) Pasick of Howell Rheanna Ohls of Mecosta Nephew Michael Newland of Bellevue Grandson Austin Ford Great Nephew Malachi Espinoza, great niece Makayla Espinoza, cousins and many friends who treasure the memories they have. The family will greet friends on Friday from 7:00 p.m to 9:00 p.m. at the Daggett Funeral Home in Barryton.
