William T. "Bill" Crisp Sr., age 81 of Chippewa Lake, passed away Wednesday, April 17, 2013 at his home. He was born April 14, 1932 in Stalwart, the son of William J. and Pearl (Gill) Crisp. Bill was honorably discharged from the United States Army after serving during the Korean Conflict. He married Dolores Rakoczy and together raised their family in Lansing. Bill was employed by the Buick Olds Cadillac Group for 35 years until he retired. He loved his family and will be forever missed by them. Bill is survived by his son, Tom (Danelle) Crisp of South Carolina; his stepchildren, Jim, Val and Kate; many grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; his sister, Louella Williams of Lansing; his brother, Arthur (Mary) Crisp of Rudyard; many nieces, nephews and cousins. Bill was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Dolores; a stepdaughter, Pam; three brothers, Dewey, Edward and Leonard, two sisters, Geraldine and Susie. A memorial service will take place at 1:00 p.m. Monday, April 22, 2013 at the Daggett Funeral Home in Barryton with Pastor Randy Piatt officiating. The family will greet friends Monday at 12:00 p.m. (noon) until services at 1:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
