William David "Bill" Clark passed away Wednesday, January 10, 2018 at the age of 90. He was born November 5, 1927 in River Rouge, the son of David and Emma (Boyden) Clark. Bill worked on the family farm, owned and operated his own business, and was employed by Federal Screw.
He devoted his life to the way of God and to people. Bill was always looking out for others and thinking of them often times before himself. His devotion to God led him to meet his wife, Doris. Together, they were married more than 50 years and had two children along with many grandchildren.
Bill was preceded in death by his wife, Doris Clark; daughter, Monique McDiarmid; and two sisters, Rose and June.
He was deeply loved and will be forever missed. Bill is survived by his sister, Millie; son, Jerry; seven grandchildren, Lindsey, Leah, David, Megan, Jeremy, Jacquelyn, and Jonah; and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will take place 11:00 a.m. Monday, January 15, 2018 at the Daggett-Gilbert Funeral Home in Big Rapids with Pastor Harold Gilkerson officiating. The family will greet friends from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. Sunday, January 14th at the funeral home. Bill will be laid to rest 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, January 16th at East Lawn Memorial Gardens in Saginaw.
Memorial contributions may be made in his name to the Susan P. Wheatlake Regional Cancer Center.
