Willard "Red" Denslow, age 87 of Weidman, Died unexpectedly Thursday, September 15, 2022. He was born October 20, 1934 in Wixom Lake, the son of Jerome and Ruth (Gunkle) Denslow. Red married Beverly Loomis May 5, 1956 and together raised their five children in Barryton. He co-owned J & R .05-$1 Store for 25 years in Barryton with his wife. Red and Beverly enjoyed dancing, camping and traveling; they went to every state except Alaska. He enjoyed hunting and reading anything about history. Red was an avid coin collector. He loved to visit with people and could talk to anyone. Red will be missed by all who loved him. Red is survived by his daughters, Julie (Michael) VanSyckle of Weidman, Annette (Jim) Jorgenson of Barryton, Diana Thren of Weidman; 13 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Beverly on November 23, 2021; children, Jerry Denslow and Brenda Thompson; and son-in-law, Keith Thren. A memorial visitation will be held Saturday, October 22, 2022 from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. at Daggett Funeral Home in Barryton.
