Wilbur Charles "Bill" Henry, 81 of Barryton, formerly of Remus passed away on Sunday, March 2, 2020 at his home. Wilbur was born on August 30, 1938 in Reed City to Fredrick and Helen (Moot) Henry. He was the oldest of ten children; five brothers, Rick Henry, Freddie Henry, David Bissett, Frank Bissett and Jim Bissett and four sisters, Rosemary Tremayne, Jenny Ann Henry, Caroline Stratton and Juanita Perkins. He was raised in Evart and earned his GED later in life. Wilbur was a volunteer fireman in Grand Rapids for several years before moving back up north to be closer to his family. He is survived by several family members, close friends and caregiver, Marilyn Miir, who he loved like a daughter. Wilbur was preceded in death by his parents. A life celebration is being planned for this summer.
