Walter Kenneth "Skip" Broadhurst, age 82, of White Cloud, Michigan, passed away unexpectedly on October 11, 2024. Born on May 29, 1942, to Frank and Frieda (Muntz) Broadhurst, Skip grew up in Allegan, Michigan, and graduated from Otsego High School in 1960.
A long-time member of the Elks, Skip was known as an all-around good guy and a great machinist and businessman. He had a deep love for the outdoors, spending his time hunting and fishing, and he was especially proud of his grandchildren, who brought him endless joy.
Skip is survived by his children, Larry (Rhonda) Broadhurst and Darren Broadhurst, both of Allegan; his siblings, Rose "Tootie" Treece of North Carolina and Bob Broadhurst of Plainwell, Michigan; his grandchildren, Heather Burd (Fianc Luke Keyzer) and Jason (Katie) Broadhurst; and his great-grandchildren, Daelan, Hailey, and Mylah. He also leaves behind many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents and several siblings.
In honor of Skips memory, memorial donations may be made to the American Heart Association. Per Skips wishes cremation has taken place and there are no services at this time.
