Wade D. Weller, age 38 of Morley, passed away unexpectedly Tuesday, March 15, 2016. He was born April 17, 1977 in Big Rapids, the son of Ron Weller and Bonnie Hietikko. Wade married Lisa Russell on July 20, 2007 and began raising their three daughters in Morley. He enjoyed watching older movies and shows, music, camping, and the outdoors. Wade was a talented meat processor. He loved playing and spending time with his daughters. Wade is survived by his wife, Lisa Weller of Morley and their three daughters, Brianna, Bethany, and Skye; father, Ron (Lee) Weller of Big Rapids; mother, Bonnie Hietikko of Big Rapids; four brothers, Jeremy (Amanda) Weller of Ypsilanti, Anthony (Stacy) Weller of Ann Arbor, Ronald (Michele) Weller of Big Rapids, and Joshuah Schofield of Lansing; three sisters, Sarah (Carl) Blakemore of Lansing, Amanda Weller of Big Rapids, and Shannon Weller of Big Rapids; paternal grandparents, Daniel and Helen Corey of Big Rapids; maternal grandparents, Jack and Barb Maus of White Cloud; many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins. He was preceded in death by a brother, Jared Weller. A memorial service will take place 11:00 a.m. Saturday, March 19, 2016 at the Daggett-Gilbert Funeral Home in Big Rapids. The family will greet friends one hour prior to the service on Saturday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be given to his family for the future of his three minor daughters.
