Obituary

Virginia "Ginny" Sager, age 75, of Morley passed away of cancer on Wednesday, August 1, 2007, at her home. She was born December 2, 1931 in Bradner, Ohio. She is the daughter of Martin and Lottie Tyson. In 1950, she married her loving husband, Joseph who survives, also surviving is her daughter, Teresa (Gene) Peterson, of Morley, her grandchildren; Kevin Loman, Jennifer (Kevin) Jones, and Renae Peterson; and her great-grandchildren, Haven and Izaak, step-daughter, Sherry Smith of Ohio, two step-grandsons, and their children. Surviving are four sisters and two brothers. Linda, Delores (Richard) Weiker, Norma (Fred) Ault, Betty (Don) Ault, Robert (Lucille) Tyson, all from Ohio and Boyd Tyson of Michigan and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by four brothers; Ray, Clarence, Ronald and Howard Tyson and a sister, Ruth. Ginny retired from Ohio's Auto-Lite in 1974. After moving to Michigan, they built Ginny's Coffee House, in Rogers Heights in 1979. Ginny was owner and operator until 1990, when they sold the business. Ginny loved spending time with family; camping, traveling and going to the casino. She will be greatly missed by all. Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. Saturday, August 4th at the Daggett-Gilbert Funeral Home in Big Rapids with family friend, Reverend William McDaniel officiating. Burial will follow in the Stanwood Cemetery. Memorial contributions can be left for the family at the funeral home, where Ginny's family will greet friends on Friday from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m., and 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and prior to the funeral on Saturday.
