Violet Louise Meno (Weeks), age 87 of Stanwood, passed away Monday, August 20, 2018. She was born March 5, 1931 in Ionia the daughter of Louis and Reva (Conner) Meno. Violet had been employed by both General Motors and Ore-Ida Foods. She is survived by her son, Roger (Linda) Weeks of Stanwood; brother, Victor (Frieda) Meno of Morley; Sisters-in-law, Betty Meno of Sand Lake, Ruby Weeks of Morley; Grandchildren, Shawn (Shannon) Totten, Valerie Weeks of Grand Rapids, Robin (Gary) Sirdan of Stanwood, Adam (Nicole) Totten of Romeo; Six great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandson and several nieces and nephews. Violet was preceded in death by her parents, a daughter Nancy Totten Moskow, a brother Donald and two sisters Caroline and Doris. Violet will be laid to rest at the Langston Cemetery.
