Victor Ryder passed away quietly on October 2, 2022, from complications of many severe health issues. Victor was born to Allison C. Rider and Virginia Rita Ann Ladach Rider in Detroit, Michigan on May 8, 1945, Victory in Europe Day. He served in the United States Navy from 1962 to 1968. Victor lived a simple life and traveled around the world and the United States. He spent some years in Anchorage, Alaska and returned to the Big Rapids, Michigan area in 1999 to live nearby his family. He was blessed with a great sense of humor, a sunny disposition, a generous heart and a love for all people. He had many interests including cooking, fly tying, old cars, and trucks. Victor is survived by three sisters, four brothers, and many nieces and nephews. He will be missed. Memorial services and a celebration of life for Victor will be announced at a future date.
