Timothy M. Alvey, age 48 of Big Rapids passed away Sunday, January 7, 2007 at Spectrum Health-Butterworth Campus in Grand Rapids. He was born September 19, 1958 in Detroit to John and Shirley (Colvin) Alvey. Timothy was a member of Big Rapids Jehovah's Witnesses Kingdom Hall. Timothy is survived by: his loving wife of 27 years, Laura A son: Jonathan A daughter: Mackenzie, both at home Parents: John and Shirley Alvey of Big Rapids A brother: Michael Alvey of Big Rapids A sister: Cynthia (Curt) Smith of Rockford, IL Several nieces and nephews Memorial services will take place 3:00 p.m. Saturday, January 13th at the Daggett-Gilbert Funeral Home in Big Rapids with Jason Allen officiating. The family will greet friends one hour before service time starting at 2:00 p.m. Memorial contributions in Timothy's name may be given to the family.
