Thomas L. Slee age 79, died Tuesday, February 2, 2021 at his home in Mecosta surrounded by his loving family. He was born March 22, 1941 in Lansing, the son of David and June (King) Slee. Tom has been a long-time member of the American Legion. He loved raising his Belgium draft horses and was an avid hunter and fisherman. Most of all Tom cherished the time he spent with his family. He is survived by his wife of three years Dawn (Yost); sons, Matthew (Sherra) Slee, Paul (Theresa) Slee, Thomas (Kathy) Slee; step-sons, Kenneth (Nancy) Jenkins, Mark (Mary) Jenkins; brothers, Jim (Joan) Slee, David (Pam) Slee, 16 grandchildren, and a growing tribe of great-grandchildren. Tom is preceded in death by his parents; son, Rodney; and his first wife of 53 years, Donna. A memorial service will be held at 1:00 pm Saturday, February 6, 2021 at Steadfast Baptist Church, 17707 30th Ave. (M-66) P.O. Box 143 Barryton, MI 49305. Officiant, Pastor Mark Tolosa.
