Thomas Michael Craig, beloved husband, father, and grandfather, passed away peacefully on October 2, 2026 at the age of 79.

Thomas was born on March 22, 1947 in Manistee, Michigan to Howard and Ruth Craig. He would be the oldest of nine children.

Thomas was a 1965 graduate of Big Rapids High School and that is when he met his future wife, Frances (Murphy) Craig. He enlisted in the United States Navy, they married February 15, 1967, and moved to his first duty station in Beeville, Texas. While on duty in Beeville he was severely injured and honorably discharged from the military in October of 1967. He was a proud US Navy veteran and took great pride in his son Christopher and grandson Dylan following in his Navy footsteps.

Thomas was a member of the Elks and the Jaycees and enjoyed bowling, golf, fast cars, and life on the lake with Frances.

He is survived by his beautiful wife, Frances, daughter Michelle (Curtis) Armand, son Christopher (Amanda) Craig, five grandchildren and five great grandchildren, Nathaniel (Holly Sandberg) Ridderman and daughter Lana, Dylan (Brittany) Ridderman and children Harrison and Ryleigh, Lindsey (Justin) Davies and son Julian, Andrew Craig and son Kaiden and Johnathan Craig, as well as eight brothers and sisters, Diane (Frank) Kennedy, Julie (Daniel) Parras, James Craig, Jean Marie (Thomas) Alderink, Constance (Dan) Holloman, Robert (Patricia) Craig, William (Grace) Craig, and Jeffrey (Yasmina) Craig, along with many nieces and nephews.

Per his wishes, there will be no funeral at this time.
