Theodore Charles Lintemuth, age 75 of Rodney, passed away Sunday, May 24, 2015, at Spectrum Health Big Rapids. He was born December 9, 1939, in Martiny Township to Kennard and Gertrude (Jehnzen) Lintemuth. Theodore was honorably discharged from the United States Army serving during the Vietnam era. In his spare time he enjoyed puzzles and crossword puzzles. Theodore was a lifelong resident of the area and lived and worked on his farm in Martiny Township. Theodore is survived by his siblings, Ronald (Carol) Lintemuth of Rodney, Arlene (Gary) Grosbeck of Rodney, Donna (Ronald) Truesdell of Chippewa Lake and Alvah (Diane) Lintemuth of Stanwood; two aunts, Ada Morden of Rodney and Adeline Jehnzen of Mecosta; and several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Theodore was preceded in death by his parents and a nephew Sam Oaks. Funeral services will take place 1:00 p.m. Thursday, May 28th at the Daggett-Gilbert Funeral Home in Big Rapids with his niece Pastor Angela King officiating. The family will greet friends from 6:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, May 27th at the funeral home. Interment will be at Martiny Township Cemetery near Rodney. Memorial contributions in Theodore's name may be given to the Relay for Life or the American Heart Association.
