Terry V. Richardson, age 83 of Morley, passed away Tuesday, October 11, 2022 at his home. He was born in Lakeview on January 7, 1939, the son of Marvin Edward and Gladys Jean (Dreyer) Richardson. He was a 1957 graduate from Morley High School. Terry married the late Judy (Miles) Christiansen and they made their home in Cedar Springs. They lived there until their children were grown and then returned to the Morley area. Terry was employed by Kent County Road Commission for 31 years as a mechanic and retired in 2003. He was a jack of all trades. Terry was a versatile musician and enjoyed karaoke. He restored and collected John Deere tractors and was a talented woodworker and metalworker. You could always find Terry wearing his Stetson Cowboy hat and tinkering or building a new project. He was a member of Green Country Church in Morley and Stanwood Buffalo Eagles 4360. Terry is survived by two children, Christine (Mark) McIntyre of Cedar Springs and Marvin (Darcy) Richardson of Morley; three grandchildren, Jacob (Kayla) Richardson, Taylor (Aaron) Doutry, and McKenna (Derek) Bice; four great-grandchildren, Osiris, Ozell, Paislee, and Bodhi; one sister, Sandy Brooks of Cedar Springs; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will take place 11:00 a.m. Saturday, October 15, 2022 at Daggett-Gilbert Funeral Home in Big Rapids with Pastor Roger Cooper officiating. The family will greet friends from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. and 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Friday, October 14th at the Funeral Home. Terry will be laid to rest at Higbee Cemetery in Morley.
