Our beloved sister and friend, Sue Ellen Brown, has found her peace at the end of the day. She passed away on Tuesday, August 29, 2017 at the age of 52. Sue was born in Clare, MI on April 4, 1965 to Harris and Alice (Phenix) Brown. She was raised in Brinton (Lake) and moved to Mesa, AZ as a teenager where she graduated from high school. Sue moved back to Michigan in 2000 and made her home in Mt. Pleasant. Sue was loving, liked to tease, didnt like to sit still and was independent and proud of it. She never let her disability keep her from accomplishing what she set her mind to. Sue had a black belt in tae kwon do and taught classes to other special needs children in Mt. Pleasant. She loved fishing and spending time with family and friends. Sues spirit and zest for life will not soon be forgotten by her surviving siblings, Erma "Sandy" Fitzgerald of Mt. Pleasant, Ron Brown of Clinton, NM and Dean (Dianne) Brown of San Angelo, TX; many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.Sue was preceded in death by her parents and sister Kristy (Bruce) Forest. Cremation has taken place and family services will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers the family would appreciate donations be made to the McVey House in Mt. Pleasant where Sue has resided the last two years. Sue welcomed the staff and residents into her heart and they became "family". Arrangements and care were entrusted to the Daggett Funeral Home in Barryton.
