Steven Ray Bull, age 42, of Lake Isabella, MI, formerly of the Saginaw and Midland areas passed away unexpectedly at his home late Thursday, June 2, 2011. He was born on August 4, 1968 in Fort Smith, Arkansas to Gary Ray and Billie Karen (Sparks) Bull. He was a proud graduate of the University of Arkansas in Fayetteville where he received a Bachelors of Electrical Engineering in 1995 and held a 3.8 GPA. Steven had previously been employed by Consumers Energy in Saginaw and Midland. Steven was interested in muscle cars, computers and electronics. A fascination with baby kittens led him to be the parent of 13 kitties he found joy in. Steven's grandmother Edna Sparks was influential in his life teaching him his profound capacity to love. Her passing in 2008 took a toll on his emotions. In September of 2010 he moved to Lake Isabella where he enjoyed the tranquility of the lake. Being a brilliant, caring and loving man, is what made him Steven. He is survived by his father Gary Bull of Fort Smith, Arkansas; one brother Kevin Bull and his daughter Amanda of Van Buren, Arkansas, one sister Lisa Argueta of Houston, Texas, Grandmother Alma Simpson of La Puente, California; 3 Aunts and Uncles, Joe and Pam Norried, Kenny and Jo Ellen Simmons and Angie Aldridge. He also leaves behind his girlfriend of twelve years Darci Bishop of Lake Isabella. Besides his grandparents, Steven was preceded in death by his mother Billie Thacker in 2010 and one Aunt, Brenda Robertson in 2000. In the past year Trinity and John Henry "Doc Holiday" two of the cats he helped raise passed away. Cremation has taken place. Arrangements and care have been entrusted the Daggett Funeral Home in Barryton, Michigan.
