Shirley Mae (Lewellen) Smith, 77, of Canadian Lakes died unexpectedly and peacefully with her family at her side on June 3, 2017. She was born in Parkersburg, WV, spent her youth in Mineral Ridge, OH, raised her children in Ravenna, Mich., and resided by the 9th tee in Canadian Lakes during her retirement years.
Shirley was passionate about the arts, her church, her family and her sports teams the Detroit Tigers and MSU basketball.
