Sharon L. Anderson, age 65 of Barryton, passed away Sunday, July 15, 2012 in Grand Rapids, MI. She was born April 10, 1947 in Edmore, MI to Lawrence and Ruth (Daily) Cook. On June 19, 1965 Sharon married Wendell L. Anderson at the family home in Barryton where they have resided ever since. Sharon had a strong will and was known to argue a point to be right. She was caring, enjoyed life on the farm and being a house wife. Sharon is survived by her husband of 47 years, Wendell; one daughter, Tiffany (Kevin) Vestal of Barryton; two sons Nolan (Kim) Anderson of Evart and Fred Anderson of Barryton; eight grandchildren, Joshua Voorhees, Alan Voorhees, Linda Belden, Noah Anderson, Justin Everett and Ricky, Clifford and Christine; one great-grandson; her mother, Ruth Hubble, seven brothers and sisters, Larry (Marie) Cook, Beverly Belden, Harold (Sharon) Cook, Danny (Patty) Cook, Lewis "Doug" Harper, David (Sheila) Harper and Janie Roe and many nieces and nephews. Sharon was preceded in death by her father Lawrence Cook, one sister Connie Ordiway, her daughter Julie Everett and a grandson Nathan Anderson. Graveside services for Sharon will take place 11:00 a.m., on Tuesday, July 17, 2012 at East Fork Cemetery in Barryton with Pastor Darwin Mowat officiating.
