Shae Christine McNeilly, a feisty little girl, age 4 months and 15 days went home to be with the Lord, Thursday, March 27, 2008 at her home. She was born in Big Rapids on November 12, 2007 to Tom McNeilly and Erica Rehahn. Shae spent the first two and half months at DeVos Children's Hospital in Grand Rapids where she became a little miracle beating the odds against her. At only a few weeks old she was an inspiration to those around her. Shae will continue to be treasured by her beloved parents Erica and Tom of Barryton, sister Chloe Rae McNeilly of Barrtyon, maternal grand parents: Christine Rehahn and Jimmy Vanderhoef of Missouri, paternal grand parents: Jeff and Patti McNeilly of Barryton, six great grandparents: Don and Marge Steiner, Eldon and Kay McNeilly and Robert and Joann Howe, Aunts and Uncles: Jeanette and Barbie Rehahn, Rachel and Jonathan Pence, Daniel (Krista) McNeilly, BobbiJo McNeilly and numerous great aunts, uncles and cousins. Funeral services for Shae will take place 1:00 p.m. Monday, March 31, 2008 at the Daggett Funeral Home in Barryton with Pastor Gary Bryan officiating. The family will greet friends at the Daggett Funeral Home on Sunday from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Memorial contributions in Shae's memory are requested to the March of Dimes, DeVos Children's Hospital or to the family.
