Ruthanne "R.A." Woodhead, age 69 of Grand Rapids, died Friday, October 13, 2023 at Mission Point-Big Rapids. She was born June 24, 1954 in Grand Rapids, the daughter of Dennis and Mavis (Wheat) DeWilde. R.A. worked at Amway for 35 years, retiring in 2013. She was an avid reader, enjoying any genre she could get her hands on. R.A. had a passion and love for horses, dogs, and music, especially singing in the choir. She enjoyed attending Zion Lutheran Church making many friends. R.A. had a sharp sense of humor that will be missed by many. She is survived by her daughters, Jacquelaine (Donald) Bowen of Big Rapids, Tiffany (Steven Stoffers) Woodhead of Grand Rapids, Natalie Woodhead of Comstock Park; sister, Mary Foy; grandchildren, Evelyn, Gyddeon, Annoura, Joseph, Theodore; six nieces and nephews. R.A. was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Timothy Woodhead in 2019; parents; and brother, Mark DeWilde. A Memorial Service will be held 6:00 p.m. Friday, October 27, 2023 at Zion Lutheran Church, 582 Lamoreaux Drive NW, Comstock Park, MI 49321, with visitation one hour prior to the service on Friday.
