Ruthann Rose was the daughter of Murna Miller and Gordon Miller, she was born in Lakeview, MI on April 5, 1940. We fondly called her Ruthie, and she earned her Angel wings on Friday, September 9th, 2022. Ruth was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. One of the favorite things we loved about her was how she enjoyed writing and sending letters to family and friends. You see, that was one of the few things Ruth was able to do since a stroke many years ago drastically changed her life. Ruth never let the stroke take away her smile and sense of humor. Family and friends often thought about Ruths life before her stroke. She was a woman who was constantly on the go and active. Her social calendar was filled with activity and fun. We often ached for her, wishing her stroke would not have changed her life so drastically. Ruth always managed to keep in good spirits, finding ways to fill her days. Toward the end we could see life was becoming more of a struggle. Huey found her peacefully eternally sleeping with a letter to her niece Lauren in an envelope, ready to be sent. Ruthie loved getting mail. In memory of Ruth, we would request you all pick up the phone, write a letter or ring the doorbell of a relative who would enjoy a visit. She mentioned that instead of flowers if anyone wanted to donate to her memory, she wanted it to be toward the Chippewa Lakes Fire Works. This request sounds just like her!Ruthann Rose is survived by her husband Harold (Huey) Rose, son Marc Rose and son Brian (Carlleen) Rose and several grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father Gordon Miller and her mother Murna Miller, brother Charles Miller and sister-in-law Jackie Miller.A private life celebration will be held at a later date. Life is short, live every minute, the best that you can.
