Ruth Ann Hubble, formerly of Barryton, was welcomed into her heavenly home on Saturday, January 26, 2019 on her 95th birthday. She resided at Altercare in Big Rapids since 2007. Ruth was born on January 26, 1924 in Fremont Twp., Isabella Co., MI to John and Delia (Martin) Daily. Ruth had eleven siblings and was raised during the depression which taught her to be frugal and thrifty. She loved gardening and looked forward to sharing her produce with church family, neighbors and friends. Ruth kept an immaculate lawn and looked for any excuse to get on the mower and be outside. She enjoyed building projects and canning. Ruth attended the Barryton Church of God for numerous years and contributed there in many ways. After retiring from Ferris, where she was a custodian, Ruth and her husband, Bob, did a lot of traveling throughout the United States. Ruths family will remember her practical jokes and fun loving spirit for years to come. She is survived by seven children, Larry (Marie Thomas) Cook of Barryton, Beverly Belden of Reed City, Harold (Sharon) Cook, Danny (Patty) Cook , Lewis "Doug" Harper all of Barryton, David Harper of Saranac and Janie Roe of Barryton; two siblings, Rolland Daily and Helen Carter and numerous, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-greatgrandchildren, nieces and nephews. Ruth was preceded in death by her parents; husband Robert Hubble; two daughters, Connie Oridway in 2002 and Sharon Anderson in 2012; nine siblings; one granddaughter, Julie Everett and two great-grandchildren, Nathan Anderson and Devon Mae Denslow. Funeral services will take place at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, January 31st at the Daggett Funeral Home in Barryton with visitation two hours prior, Noon 2PM. Interment will be at Flake Cemetery in Barryton. Pastor John Mellish will officiate. Memorial contributions in Ruths name can be made to the Barryton Church of God (to be used for children).
