Rosemary Joyce Schuchaskie, 77, passed away on January 18, 2025. Born on February 15, 1947, Rosemary lived a full and vibrant life marked by love, creativity, and a deep connection to her family and community.
Rosemary had a gift for making everyday moments special. She was known for her cooking and canning, which brought comfort and joy to her loved ones. She delighted in writing heartfelt letters and cards to family and friends, always keeping those she cared for close through her thoughtful words. She enjoyed listening to the radio, hunting for treasures at yard sales, and cheering on her favorite teams, the Detroit Red Wings and Michigan State. A passionate collector, Rosemary had an eye for beautiful jewelry that reflected her sparkling personality.
She is survived by her devoted husband, Allen, and her cherished daughter, Pauline E. Schuchaskie of Barryton. She also leaves behind her loving siblings: Oneita Schlegel of Lake George, Ila Marie Sieffert of Remus, Charlene (Terrance) Powell of Morley, Katherine Moore of Edmore, and Marlin Tower of Edmore.
Rosemary was preceded in death by her parents, Floyd and Pauline Tower, and her siblings: Kathleen Beilfuss, Ronald Tower, Emmett Tower, Gordon Tower, Esther McGuire, Lyle Tower, and Paul Tower.
A memorial service to celebrate Rosemarys life will be planned by the family in the spring. Further details will be shared at a later date.
