Rose Mary Welch, age 61 of Morley, passed away unexpectedly Wednesday, April 3, 2007 at her home. She was born August 11, 1945 in Flint to Elias and Eva (Kecker) Alcorn. Rose Mary married Kenneth C. Welch on January 9, 1965 in Morley. She was employed at Wolverine World Wide in Rockford and later stayed at home to take care of her family. Rose Mary will be forever missed by her loving family; husband Ken Welch of Morley Two sons; Brian (Patty) Welch of Morley and Mark (Sandra) Welch of Big Rapids, 3 grandchildren; Dylan, Chelsea, and Matthew Welch 2 brothers; Dale Alcorn of Grant and Buck Alcorn of Marion 3 sisters; Ruth (Larry) Brock of Grant, Betty Crandell of Grant and Pat Brock of Bailey and many nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, Rose Mary was preceded in death by 3 sisters, Harriet Keech, Eva West and Ruby Rogers and one brother; Clifford Alcorn. Funeral services will take place 11:00 a.m. Saturday, April 7th at the Daggett-Gilbert Funeral Home in Big Rapids with Pastor Philip Bongard officiating. The family will greet friends from 5:00 to 8:00 pm on Friday, April 6th at the funeral home. Burial will be in Aetna Township Cemetery in Morley.
