Rose Elaine Wagner, 75, of Big Rapids, passed away peacefully on Sunday, September 15, 2024. She was born on January 8, 1949, in Piqua, Ohio, to Robert and Mary Webster. Rose spent her career as an aide at Pine Port AIS Home in Big Rapids, where her compassion and dedication to caring for others were felt by both patients and staff, who quickly became like family to her. Her kindness was evident in the love and support she provided to everyone she encountered. Outside of work, Rose enjoyed helping others, watching movies, and spending time coloring. However, her greatest joy came from being with her family, especially her grandchildren, who held a special place in her heart. Rose is survived by her children, Robert Turner and Karen (Ron) Coxon; her grandchildren, Kelsey, Kirk, Kayleigh, Anna, and Elizabeth; and her great-grandchildren, Odin and Olivia. She is preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Mary Webster; her daughter-in-law, Tammy; her grandson, James; and her sister, Sarah Bradley. Memorial Visitation will be held on Friday, September 20, 2024, from 5-8:00 P.M. at Daggett-Gilbert Funeral Home, Big Rapids. Inurnment will be held at Higbee Cemetery.
