RosaLee J. Arnson, age 63 of Big Rapids, passed away Saturday, February 19, 2011 at her home. She was born April 6, 1947 in Greenville, MI the daughter of Max and Amy (Harmon) Rolison. RosaLee graduated High School and worked as a licensed beautician for many years; most recently she had enjoyed her employment at Patterson's Flowers in Reed City. RosaLee was a member of the First Baptist Church of Big Rapids. She is survived by her husband, Gary Arnson of Big Rapids; 2 children, Roderick Arnson of Hudsonville, Ricquel (Mark) Hinkley of Big Rapids; a grandson, Rian Arnson; her mother, Amy Rolison of Big Rapids; a brother, Dale (Lori) Rolison of Ionia; 5 nephews; and dear friends, Lisa Eklund of Kalamazoo and Elita Kotke of Dorr. RosaLee was preceded in death by her father, Max Rolison and a sister, Maxine Loll. There will be a memorial gathering at the First Baptist Church of Big Rapids. RosaLee's family will greet friends on Saturday, February 26th in the church fellowship hall from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. with a light lunch being served during this time. The gathering will end with Pastor Dave Westover giving those present words of comfort and hope in RosaLee's memory. A spring burial will take place at West Cemetery in Big Rapids.
