Roosevelt Doss Jr. was born on August 7, 1954, in Widener, Arkansas to Roosevelt Doss Sr. and Orettor (Dortch) Doss. He was the second eldest of eight children.
Roosevelt was raised in a loving family with a spiritual upbringing. He was baptized at a young age. His faith in God was very strong.
Roosevelt attended John Marshall High School. He then went on to work various jobs throughout his lifetime. Roosevelt was passionate, loving, and very protective of his siblings and family. His children and grandchildren were special to him also.
Roosevelt was called home to be with the Lord on May 31, 2020. He had a beautiful spirit and a loving heart.
Roosevelt was preceded in death by his sister Rozenia Doss Hines, his niece Chanel Doss, his dad Roosevelt Doss Sr., and nephew Jimmy Doss Jr.
Left to honor Roosevelts life are his mother, Orettor Doss; his children, Tyra, Karla, Ramone, and Kiara; his sisters, Mary L. (Ernest), Hardelia (Timothy), and Jeannette (Ihab); his brothers, Jimmy (Donna), Larry (Sandra), and Calvin (Della); and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Cremation and care entrusted to the Daggett-Gilbert Funeral Home in Big Rapids.
