Ronald R. Bowen, age 77 of Paris, formerly of Pontiac, passed away Tuesday, November 29, 2011 at his home. He was born July 12, 1934 in Auburn Heights, MI the son of Victor and Madeline (Johnson) Bowen. Ron was honorably discharged from the United States Navy, serving during the Korean War. He is survived by his loving wife, Marilyn of Paris; nine children, Bambi (Bob) Cole of Pontiac, Darlene (Tim) Cote of Pontiac, Cathy (Gary) Goldsworthy of Waterford, Mark (Gayle) Bowen of Deltona, FL, David (Sue) Bowen of Orlando, FL, Teresa (Mark) Pace of Pontiac, Brian (Sharon) Johnson of Northport, Michelle (Dennis) DeVriendt of Paris, Scott (Michele) Johnson of Big Rapids; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; a sister, Wanda Forbes of Waterford and many nieces and nephews. Besides his parents, Ron was preceded in death by two sons, David Johnson and Randy Johnson and Randy's wife, Pam Johnson. He was also preceded in death by a brother, Robert Bowen.
