Rodney Lee Munson age 47 of Howard City, MI passed away in his home late Thursday night on February 8, 2018.

Rod was a great man, a jack of all trades and everything he did he took pride in. Rod would always help loved ones without question even if it set him back. He was a very kind and sentimental man. Rod enjoyed time with his family, fishing, socializing, two-tracking, and tinkering with his 1973 Ford Mustang Mach One Convertible.

He is survived by his loving parents Maggie and Kevin Munson; his son, Kevin Munson and wife Jessica Munson; grandchildren, Calvin Munson and Mason Munson; his son, Jesse Gonzales; his daughter, Caryn Munson and her fianc, Corey Holtzlander; two brothers, Perry Munson and Vince Munson; a sister Stacy (Kirk) Sanford and many more nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, and uncles.

A Mass of Christian Burial will take place 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, February 13, 2018 at St. James Catholic Church in Montague with Father Peter Omogo officiating. The family will greet friends at the church one hour prior to the Mass. Spring burial will be at Mt. Calvary Cemetery.

Memorial Contributions in Rods name may be given to his family.
