Robert Dennis Sharrow, age 50 of Barryton, passed away December 29, 2010. On September 3, 1960, he was the youngest child born to Robert Bruce and Ida Mae (Prough) Sharrow in Detroit, Michigan. Robert was raised in Warren and made his home in Yale for several years before moving to Barryton in 1993. On August 29, 1998 he married Kathy Harper in Barryton at the Church of Christ. For the last 7 months Rob and his family made their home with his longtime friend Jerry and his niece Tabatha Morton. This allowed Tabatha the opportunity to return the gift of care which he provided for her when she was younger. Robert was a truck driver and often escorted mobile homes. His business name was Loony Toons Escort and his CB handle was "Sundown" . Rob was often the "card" at a party, enjoyed storytelling, Scooby Doo, dogs, horses, camping and bonfires with pudgy pies. He worked with his hands as a mechanic and welder, looked forward to making a big haul to the scrap yard and hated shoes. Robert adored his family and will be remembered for being a loving father and husband to his wife and children. He is survived by his wife Kathy; 5 children, William Sharrow of Chesterfield, Laura (Lewis) Harper of Jackson, Kristin, Robert and Jerry Sharrow all of Barryton; one stepson Jessy Green of Jackson; 4 brothers and sisters, Kenneth (Carole) Sharrow of Roscommon, Janet Bocanegra of Rosenburg, TX, Sally Morton of Barryton, David (Michelle) Sharrow of Alganac; three grand children, Xavier Sharrow, Makayla Sharrow and Emma Green; 6 nieces, 9 nephews and many great nieces, great nephews and close friends. Rob was preceded in death by his father Robert on November 11, 1999 and his mother Ida on December 28, 2009. The family will greet friends on Tuesday, January 4, 2011 at the Daggett Funeral Home in Barryton from 11AM until the time of service at 1PM. Memorial donations in Robert's name will be made to Daggett Funeral Home.
