R.J. Gardner, age 94 of Barryton, died peacefully Saturday, February 27, 2021 at his home. He was born February 26, 1927, the son of Harrison and Beulah (Williams) Gardner. R.J. enjoyed being outdoors whether it was camping with his family or fly fishing. He loved to travel across the country with his wife. He is survived by his wife of 68 years Nina; sons, Mark (Linda) Gardner, Mike (Keiko) Gardner; grandchildren, Mark Jr., and Nathan Gardner, four great-grandchildren, many nieces and nephews. R.J. is preceded in death by his parents; three brothers; and four sisters. A graveside service will be held Spring of 2021 at Brown Cemetery.
