Richard I. Salmeron, age 53 of Morley passed away Tuesday, May 7, 2019. He was born August 27, 1965, the son of Rudolph Diaz and Mary (Ramirez) Salmeron. Richard married Ronda Osburn on November 19, 2010 in Big Rapids. His passion in life was setting stage lighting for country bands including, Branded, Grey Wolf, and Iron Horse. Richard was able to enjoy this profession as he traveled all over the state for many years.
He is survived by his wife of 8 years, Ronda Salmeron of Morley; his son, Rodney Salmeron of Grand Rapids; two brothers, Raul (Tiffany) Salmeron of Waukegon and Robert (Rosalind) Salmeron of Harlington, Texas; three sisters, Mary Ellen Gomez of Evanston, Illinois, Patricia (Charles) Molter of Chicago, Illinois, and Yvonne (Larry) Smith of Chicago, Illinois; his sister-in-law, Sue Salmeron of Ypsilanti; and many nieces and nephews.
Richard was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Ralph and Rudolph Jr. Salmeron; and his sister, Jacki Salmeron.
A celebration of life is being planned for a later date at Rodneys house.
Memorial contributions may be made in Richards name to the Daggett-Gilbert Funeral Home to assist the family with expenses.
