Obituary

It is with heavy hearts that we announce, Richard Frisbie, 56 of Morley, MI, passed away March 19, 2025 with many loving family members by his side. Rich was born October 23rd, 1968, in Lakeview, Michigan to Edward "Ted" and Judy Frisbie. After graduating from Morley Stanwood High School, Rich followed in his father's footsteps into the electrical trade. Like his father, he was an instructor for the ALBAT program and worked for Newkirk Electric as a Journeyman Substation Technician Foreman, for over 30 years until his recent retirement. Richard's mother worked at Morley Stanwood Public Schools as a Food Service Tech for 15 years.

Rich loved the outdoors. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, mushroom hunting, messing with hot rod cars, running equipment, spending time with family, and riding around with his dogs. He will always be remembered for his big heart and tough exterior. He was the kind of man that would give the shirt off his back to anyone. He enjoyed taking care of his loved ones and helping those in need.

He is survived by his wonderful mother Judy and his four sisters (Darla, Dawn, Danette & Darcy) and their families. His sons Brian (Abbi), Michael, Edward (Pam)and Richard (Whitney) and only daughter Katie (Roger) Johnson. Rich was the best grandfather to his 18 grandchildren; Kiya, Christian, Nevaeh, Logan, Terek, Braillyn, Fitch, Kira, Jace, Emman, Michael, Lydia, Teddi, Dean, Josie, Elsie, Archer, and Macy.

He is preceded in death by his father: Edward "Ted" Frisbie.

Viewing for family and friends will be from 12-2:00 P.M. until the time of service. In lieu of a luncheon, the family will be holding a Celebration of Life at a later date.
