Reva E. DeVary, age 91, passed away Friday, May 3, 2024 at Mission Point of Cedar Springs. Reva was born September 8, 1932 in Flint, the daughter of James and Katherine (Harrison) Haney. Reva attended Barryton Church of Christ for many years. On June 17, 1950 she married Donald DeVary in Barryton where they raised their family. Reva enjoyed working as a florist at Pattersons Flowers in Canadian Lakes for several years. She loved to cook, crochet, and decorate her household for different holidays. Most of all, Reva cherished the time she spent with her grandchildren and family. She is survived by her children, Donald Douglas (Becky) DeVary of Sparta, Katherine Ruth DeVary of Barryton; grandchildren, Timothy (Sonya) DeVary, Anthony DeVary, Tamara DeVary, James DeVary, Kyle (Kylee) McMahan, Sean McMahan; great-grandchildren, Alyson Ramirez, Noe Puga, TJ DeVary, Raya DeVary, Aiden DeVary, Bentley McMahan; and few nieces and nephews. Reva was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Donald DeVary; son Robert DeVary; siblings, Geneva Cavanaugh, Doris Guerin, Kathleen DeVary, Kenneth Haney; and special friend, Dick Lough.
