Raymond L. Hall age 83 of Big Rapids, went home to be with his Lord and join his wife Helen on Monday, March 15, 2010. He was born October 26, 1926 in Detroit the son of Edmund and Louise (Deeks) Hall. Raymond was honorably discharged from the United States Navy, serving during World War II in the Pacific Theater. He was a member of St. Paul's Campus Parish in Big Rapids and a life member of the Knights of Columbus. He is survived by his 4 children; Raymond "Shorty" (JoAnne) Hall of Big Rapids, Michael (Sandra) Hall of Livonia, Shelley (Dave) Leitch of Ostrander, OH, David (Betty) Hall of Rockwood, MI; 6 grandchildren, Michael John (Jaime) Hall, Kelly Anne Hall, Kristin (Brody) Lance, Katherin Leitch, Jeff Leitch, Brooke Lynne Hall; 1 great-granddaughter, Teagan Lance; a brother, Robert (Gert) Hall of Cheboygan, MI; a sister, Jean (Bill) Sekelsky of Kalkaska and many nieces and nephews. Besides his parents, Raymond was preceded in death by a brother William "Ollie" Hall and his beloved wife, Helen in 2002. Funeral services will take place 7:00 p.m. Thursday, March 18th at the Daggett-Gilbert Funeral Home in Big Rapids with Father Lam T. Le officiating. The family will greet friends 3 hours prior to services on Thursday. (4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.) Memorial contributions in Raymond's name may be made to St. Paul's Campus Parish in Big Rapids.
