Ramona "Mona" Mae Tank, 83, passed away with her family by her side on November 9, 2024. Born on February 22, 1941, Mona grew up with a passion for life and a love for connecting with people.
Mona was an avid football fan, particularly devoted to the Detroit Lions, and found joy in watching the Game Show Network, tackling newspaper crossword puzzles, and winning big at Bingo. She cherished time spent with her closest friends, always bringing warmth and laughter to those around her.
Mona is survived by her loving family, including her two brothers, Jack Pakkala and Raymond Pakkala; her daughter, Lynn Dennert, and Lynns partner, Scott Burns. She will also be deeply missed by her three granddaughters: Kelley (Jeremy) Tollenaar, along with great-grandsons Isaac and Hank; Hayley (Daniel) Allen; and Janae Burns (Ross Linden), along with great-granddaughter Amelia.
Mona was preceded in death by her beloved husband of nearly 30 years, Ford R. "Bob" Tank, who passed in 2014, and her son William Taipalus, who passed in 2005.
