Rachel Marie (Fetterley) Goldman, beloved mother, daughter, and sister passed away unexpectedly on January 28, 2022, age 36. Rachel was born on February 24, 1985 in Ann Arbor, MI. She grew up in Big Rapids and attended Big Rapids High School. Rachel had a talent for cooking and followed her dream in culinary art where she graduated from Northwestern, Traverse City, MI. It was this passion that led her to South Haven, Mississippi where she was employed by Chartwells Higher Education and worked at Memphis University. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Coy C. Myers and Rachel M. Myers and Wilbur C. Fetterley and Mary C. Fetterley. She is survived by two children, Elizabeth R. Goldman and Nicholas W. Goldman; parents, Dena Fetterley of Canadian Lakes, and James Fetterley of Big Rapids; three brothers and one sister. Her caring for people and her heart felt smile will be missed by everyone. She will be put to rest at Hungerford Cemetery at 1:00 p.m. before the memorial. A memorial gathering with Pastor Angela King and luncheon celebration of life is planned for 2:30 p.m. Sunday May 1st at Clear Lake Golf Club, 14777 150th Ave. Big Rapids MI, all are invited to attend.
