Mr. Phillip W. Frost, passed away Thursday afternoon, surrounded by family and loved ones, February 26, 2026 at Intersect Healthcare, Big Rapids, Michigan, after a brief battle with cancer, at the age of 75 years.

Phillip W. Frost was born Friday, October 27, 1950 in Saginaw, Michigan, to the late Donald H, and Phyllis (Sanford) Frost. He grew up in Freeland, and Saginaw, then joined the United States Army, honorably serving a three year tour of duty both in Germany, and in combat in Vietnam. After the Army, Phillip lived, worked, and explored around the country, including Michigan, Florida, Texas, California, and Oregon, before returning home to spend his final years in Michigan.

He was married four times, and is survived by six children, Brady (Christina) Frost, Phillip Frost, Max (Staci) Frost, April Frost, Kyle Frost, Brandi Eikenberry; 11 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren.

Two brothers, Donald Frost II, and Anthony Frost, and two sisters, Kathleen (Frost) Brown, and Mary Frost, also survive Phillip. Sister Sandra Frost preceded Phillip in death.

Phillip loved to garden, exploring and travelling. He was outgoing, exceedingly generous, and always went out of his way to help friend, and stranger, alike.

A graveside service, with military honors, was held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, March 4, 2026 at St. Andrew Cemetery, Saginaw, Michigan, where he was buried in a family grave, beside his mother.
