Patsy A. Bell, age 65 of Paris, passed away Sunday, February 10, 2013 at her daughter's home in Big Rapids. She was born March 24, 1947 in Reed City, the daughter of Ora and Reva (Samis) Sweet. Patsy was raised in Paris on the family farm where she enjoyed farming and driving the tractor. She was a lifetime caregiver and was employed by Altercare of Big Rapids for 20 years. Patsy was a Tigers baseball fanatic. She loved flowers, animals and going to yard sales. Patsy enjoyed the outdoors, dancing and country music. She was very Christian and loved the Lord. Patsy was always there for her family, being their rock. She cherished her grandchildren and great-grandchildren and will be greatly missed by all. Patsy is survived by her children, Jackie Fisk of Big Rapids, Randy Sweet of Big Rapids and Mandy Mitchell of Rodney; seven grandchildren, Brandy, Shawn, Nicole, Kodey, Seth, Alex and Blain; five great-grandchildren; two sisters, Marella Biller of Kalkaska and Marlene Grove of Paris; many nieces and nephews. Patsy was preceded in death by her parents, a sister, Marjorie Davidson, and a brother-in-law, Larry Grove. A memorial service will take place 2:00 p.m. Friday, February 15, 2013 at the Rogers Heights Christian Church with Scott Davidson officiating. The family will greet friends one hour prior to services, starting at 1:00 p.m. at the church.
