Patrick C. Peterson, age 68 of Big Rapids, passed away Sunday, August 1, 2010 at Altercare of Big Rapids. He was born August 14, 1941 in Big Rapids the only child of John and Frances (Badard) Peterson. Pat was a farmer his entire life. He owned and operated a farm in Colfax Township, where he raised dairy cows for many years. Pat was a member of the Fern Grange. He is survived by many family members including his cousins; R. P. and Carelin Lintemuth of Rodney, Gerald Lintemuth of Big Rapids, Bill and Terri Lintemuth of Rodney and Harry and Marge Kuhn of Lake Isabella. Funeral services will take place 11:00 a.m. Thursday, August 5, 2010 at the Daggett-Gilbert Funeral Home in Big Rapids with Pastor Clay Bates officiating. The family will greet friends at the funeral home on Wednesday from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Burial will be at Pine Plains Cemetery in Colfax Township.
