Patricia L. Potter age 79 of Reed City formerly of Barryton passed away Sunday, January 7, 2007 at the Reed City Skilled Nursing Facility. Patricia was born in Barryton on July 23, 1927 to Henry and Agnes (Earle) Westra. She married Franklin R. Potter May 12, 1956 in Barryton. Together they made their home in Battle Creek moving to Barryton after Frank's retirement in 1973. Pat was a member of the Barryton Rebekah Lodge #77 for a number of years. She loved go fishing when she was younger, make crafts and crochet. Patricia is survived; by daughter Lenita (Philip) Worthy of Rodney Daughters in law: Leota Potter of Rodney and Carol Luce of Kalamazoo Brother: Wayne Westra of Allen Park Sisters; Juanita Ballard of Reed City and Luella (Harmon) Potter of Barryton 7 Grandchildren 14 Great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews Besides her parents and husband Pat was preceded in death by her son Robert Luce and stepson Franklin M. Potter. A memorial service will take place 1:00 p.m. Friday, January 12, 2006 at the Daggett Funeral Home in Barrryon with Pastor Randy Piatt officiating The family asks that memorial contributions be made to Spectrum Health Skilled Nursing Care in Reed City, who took excellent care of Pat and will continue to care for her sister Juanita who shared a room with Pat.
