Patricia L. Cummings, age 75 of Barryton, passed into the arms of her Lord and Savior on Monday, July 31, 2017 in Mt. Pleasant. She was born on July 17, 1942 in Mt. Pleasant to Floyd and Anna Louise (Peacock) Miller. Patricia graduated from Barryton High School in 1960. She was previously employed as a secretary at Ferris and Eagle Village. For numerous years Patricia looked forward to volunteering at Gods Helping Hands in Remus and was a member of the Wheatland Church of Christ. She loved God, reading her Bible and was a good Christian lady. Patricia is survived by her husband Gale of Barryton; children, Brent (Katie) Bazaire and Lora (Alan) Sherman; three stepchildren, Kim, Chris and Dennis and many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, extended family and friends. Patricia was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers, Paul and Bill Miller. A graveside service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, August 2, 2017 at Sherman City Cemetery, Weidman, MI with Pastors Randy Piatt and JD Sanders officiating. Memorial donations in Patricias name can be made to Gods Helping Hands or the Mecosta County Commission on Aging.
