Norman J. Geasler, age 84, of Lake died Wednesday, December 15, 2021 surrounded by family. He was born October 14, 1937 on his parents farm in Coldwater Township, the son of Albert and Daisy (Sloan) Geasler. Norm earned his Bachelors Degree in accounting from Ferris State University in 1968. He worked as the clerk and treasurer on the Coldwater Township Board for forty years retiring in 2012. Norm was a beloved and trusted member in the community. He always took the time to get to know people and helped everyone. Norm devoted his heart and soul to the family farm where he raised his three sons. He enjoyed hunting and driving his Case tractors. After retiring Norm enjoyed traveling around Michigan. He is survived by his sons, Gary (Deb) Geasler, and Kevin Geasler; significant other, Janet Reaume; many nieces and nephews. Norm was preceded in death by his wife, Joyce in 2002; son, Joe Geasler; parents; and sister, Melva Worth. Funeral service will be held 1:00 p.m., Monday, December 20, 2021 at North Brinton Cemetery in Lake with visitation an hour prior at the cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made in Norms name to Woodland Hospice House in Mount Pleasant. Care and arrangements entrusted to Daggett Funeral Home in Barryton.
