Norma E. Schussler, age 80 of Rodney, passed away Thursday, September 26, 2013 at home. She was born March 2, 1933 in Grand Rapids the daughter of Russell and Rose (Jamison) Baldwin. Norma has made her home in Big Rapids since the late 1990's where she attended the Free Methodist Church. She liked to crochet and loved visits from her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She is survived by her three children, Gerald (Nancy) Schussler of Florida, Christine Holmes of Grand Rapids, Kenneth Schussler of Big Rapids; seven grandchildren, Kenneth (Brittany) Schussler and Kimberly (Mario) DaVila and their mother, Brenda Schussler, Victoria (Carl) Kelley, Rose Guevara, Carrie Brinkman, Gina Schussler, Teresa (Hugo) Cano, 10 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Norma was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Donald Baldwin. Funeral services will take place 11:00 a.m. Monday, September 30th at the Daggett-Gilbert Funeral Home in Big Rapids with Pastor Scott Gibbons officiating. Burial will be at the Coral Cemetery. The family will greet friends at the Daggett-Gilbert Funeral Home in Big Rapids on Sunday, September 29th from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Memorial contributions in Norma's name may be made to Hospice of Michigan.
