Nancy I. Turner age 75, of Morley, passed away on Sunday, March 6, 2016 in Grand Rapids. She was born on September 25, 1940 in Pontiac to Vernon and Hazel (Wismer) Simer. Nancy was actively involved with the Knox-Helms Unit 554, Morley American Legion Auxiliary, where she was the former past District President and the Bingo Chairman for 33 years.
Nancy is survived by her children, Mary (James) Gunn of Paris, Diane E. Jones of Columbia, TN, John (Carmen) Radcliff of Germany and Roger (Yong) Radcliff of Bossier City, LA; daughter at heart, Vickie Lindsey; close friend, Yvonne Bean, 8 grandchildren, 1 great-grandson; and many extended family members and friends who will hold the memories they have close to their hearts.
Nancy was preceded in death by her parents, Vernon and Hazel and one brother, James Simer.
The family will greet friends from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, March 10, 2016 at the Daggett-Gilbert Funeral Home in Big Rapids. A luncheon will follow at the Morley American Legion (2560 Northland Dr., Morley).
Memorial contributions in Nancys name can be made to, the Children and Youth Program at the Morley American Legion.
