Nancy A. Sundell, age 40 of Farwell, passed away unexpectedly Tuesday, October 17, 2006. She was born December 21, 1965 in Big Rapids to John C. and Ruth J. (Baes) Sundell. Nancy was raised in the Rodney area and graduated from Chippewa Hills High School in 1984. She made her home in the beautiful wooded country side near Farwell and worked as a branch manager for Isabella Bank and Trust in Mt. Pleasant. Nancy's death will leave a painful void in everyone's life that knew and loved her. She was a devoted mother that was very active in her children's life, especially where sports were concerned. She was dynamic at her job and her shoes will never be filled. Nancy's friends and family knew her as an honest, sweet, caring person who had much influence on their lives. Nancy was a loving wife and a best friend to her husband Kevin Berk who survives. Also surviving are; Three Children: Christopher (Shawna) Schoenborn of Mt. Pleasant Ashley and Adam Schoenborn both at home in Farwell. 2 step-children; Amber and Kalley Berk of Coleman. One grandson; Jayden and a grandchild on the way Mother: Ruth (Milt) Dean of Eau Claire Sister; Ellen McCauley of Evart Brother; Troy Sundell of Chippewa Lake her forever mom; Barb Mursch Davis of Mecosta Uncle Jim (Shirley) Sundell of Rodney Six Nephews: John, Todd, Ross, and Kirk McCauley Jonathon Couch and Matt Robins and her extended family; LeeAnne Cicero, Lori Cleary, Kim, Kevin, Kelly, and Kris Mursch And Judy and Ken Schoenborn. Nancy was preceded in death by her father, John C. Sundell and grandparents; Mayme and Carl Sundell. Funeral services will take place 11:00 a.m. Friday, October 20th at the Daggett-Gilbert Funeral Home in Big Rapids with Pastor Randy Piatt officiating. Burial will be at Martiny Township Cemetery. The family will greet friends today at the funeral home from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Memorial contributions in Nancy's name may given to her family or directly to any Isabella Bank and Trust where a fund has been established.
