Nancy Jo Houck (Cummings) also fondly known as Barb, passed away March 21, 2025 at the MediLodge of Alpena.

Nancy was born August 01, 1956, and became the foster daughter of Grace and Manuel Cummings. Throughout her life Nancy was very social and loved people. She participated in the Special Olympics and was especially fond of Bowling. She enjoyed word puzzles, knitting, and coloring.

Nancy is survived by her Foster Brother Stanley (Gerri) Nelson of Presque Isle, Michigan.

She was preceded in death by her Foster Parents, Grace and Manuel Nelson.

A private family burial will take place later this spring.
