Nadine M. Counterman, age 60 of Chippewa Lake passed away Sunday, May 17, 2009 at her home. She was born February 7, 1949 in Alma to Frank and Elizabeth (Shephard) Domres. Nadine was an avid artist, enjoyed crafting, and especially loved spending time with her grandchildren. She was a member of the Red Hat Society. Nadine is survived by her husband, Jerry of Chippewa Lake; a daughter, Mary of Chippewa Lake; 2 grandsons, Johnathan Counterman and Shane McCoy; 2 sisters, Bert Domres of Tennessee and Ann Domres of Cadillac; 4 nieces and nephews and l great nephew. Beside her parents, Nadine was preceded in death by a brother, Mike Domres. A memorial service will take place 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, May 20th at the Chippewa Lake Community Building. Arrangements are entrusted to the Daggett-Gilbert Funeral Home in Big Rapids.
